By using crop-waste such as rice husk, coffee husk and bamboo waste to make eha cups and mugs, we prevent crop-burning and reduce use of fossil and other carbon intensive materials. They are very durable and recyclable after extensive use. Making eha plant pots results in negative carbon emissions, thereby supporting circular economy and fight climate change.
The eha's eco friendly flower pots are made with our proprietary biocomposite materials. The biocomposites material used to make the planter are a blend of natural fibers and recycled plastics, which are impact modified and UV stabilised.
Eha's earth friendly plant pots are completely made in India, starting from sourcing the raw materials to manufacturing and packaging them for delivery. The intellectual property of making the biocomposites material from crop-waste is also owned by us, headquartered in Bengaluru, India.
We source crop-waste in a responsible and sustainable way from farms and factories. Crop-waste such as coffee husk and wheat straw are sourced from farms, while bamboo waste and wood waste are sourced from factories using bamboo and wood in their production process.
FAQ - PRODUCT USAGE
Provision is provided in the pots to make holes if necessary at home. Sime home tools can be used to punch holes where the provision is given, so that excess water drains out of the pot and gets collected the external drain tray.
Yes, you may grow the plants directly in the pots. You can also place another pot inside the self-watering planter if you wish to do so.
Eha's sustainable pots are made with biocomposites material that are UV stabilised and impact modified - they are durable and can be reused many times and years.
After extensive use, if you wish to dispose the products, we suggest you hand them over to your local municipal waste collection for recycling along with other dry waste suitable for recycling.
